Jardin Majorelle

This is one of the magical spot of Marrakesh. A place where to hide from the hectic life of the Medina. Go there in the morning to avoid lines. The Majorelle is a Moresco style’s garden build in 1931 by the architect Paul Sinoir. Propriety of Jacques Majorelle, a French painter, from 1919 has been bought by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé in 1980. The Princes Lalla Salma open the «YSL et le Maroc» exhibition here in 2010. In 2011 the blue villa, named Villa Ocean by the French stylist, has been transformed into the Berber museum of Marrakech. Palmtrees, aloe, bananos, bamboo and cactus are the botanic species you can discover here. A blu ceramic pool with Koi fish is a great spot to take pictures.
